All seafarers who desire to avail services in MMD exam centre at Nau Bhavan Mumbai are requested to do registration at MMD web site. User ID and password will be mailed to your e mail ID. With this you can log in and update your profile and avail all our services like endorsements, revalidation and watch keeping in the first phase. Seafarer registration is essential for any kind of service offered at exam centre. While submitting on line application you will get a number which need to be quoted

In the home page you can see it, fill up and submit.
Check the accuracy of entries prior submitting.
You will get ID and password through email. For this you may send self attested copies of passport, CDC and INDoS number or personally visit MMD with original documents.
With this ID and password you can log in through seafarer log in provided in mmd home page.
MARPOL amendment coming into force on 5th April
On 5th April 2005 amendments to Annex I of MARPOL 73/74 adopted by IMOs Marine Environment Protection Commitee(MEPC)
by resolution MPEC.111(50) in December 2003,will enter into force for all Parties to the MARPOL Convention.
NOTICE
All Indian Cargo Vessels below 500 GT are to be issued with Cargo Ship Equipment Certificate as required by M.S. Act 1958 as amended Rule 300(1)(b) alongwith Record of Equipment(Form E).These Certificates are to be obtained by 1st Annual Survey after 25/02/2005.
